Run for a Cause

Get your calendar out.

The new school year is upon us, which brings excitement in many forms. A few of those are getting back into a routine, eating healthier meals, and not driving around the country for summer travel sports! The summer has been an interesting mix of relaxing and straight-up hectic, so saying goodbye to it is bittersweet. However, there are many things to look forward to in September such as our expansion, laying turf down in the gym, new sports performance programs and of course the familiar faces of Nex Level members.

A few of our dear members have approached us about getting involved with their fundraising events. No matter how busy we are planning the 3rd annual Nex Level Olympic Games (supporting Sherry's Fight Against Mantle Cell Lymphoma and the Lymphoma Research Foundation) we could not pass up an opportunity to get involved with charity events.

On 9/27 (corrected), the Travis Manion foundation is hosting the 911 Heroes Run, in honor of our brave military and first responders. To find out more on the amazing Travis Manion Foundation and information for the race visit the link below!

Megan Rotz has been working hard planning the 1st annual 5k to support The Kathleen M. Rotz Lung Cancer Research Fund. In honor of her mother who passed away last year from a hard fought battle with lung cancer, Megan and her family are hosting the race at Tyler State Park in Newtown, on Saturday, September 12th. See the link below for more information and registration.

Make it a "Trifecta" and run again Sunday morning in the 3rd Annual Miles for Moody 5k & Fun Walk at North Penn High School, on September 13th. Trish Moody has dedicated this day, this fundraiser to her late husband, Joe Moody, who lost his battle to Melanoma in May of 2012. Joe's story is an incredible one. One you should read.
